Hello, I was getting a "Windows\system32\config\system is corrupt" error.

I used part 1 and part 2 of Article ID : 307545. However, during part 3, my
computer flashed a blue screen and I had to restart the recovery console. I
tired to finish the commands however the files are not being recogized by
recovery console.

When i type "md tmp" it says it already exists. however when i try to do
part one. It says it can not find the specified file.

How can i start over ? is there a way to get out of "md tmp" do i need to
delete files, i dont know what to do, im pretty lost. I am back to where i
started with the error at boot up. And now i am unable to use anything in
the article because it says it can not find the files when i copy the files.

please help, thanks!

Hi

Try a 'Repair' install of XP.
