Windows:System 32 file open on start-up

Does anyone knoe why the Windows Sytem 32 folder is open on the desktop every
time I start my pc. I have win xp home, an up to date virus checker and have
completed a scan. I have also restored to point before it started happening
without cureing it?

System32 Folder Opens When Logging on to Windows XP, Windows 2000, or
Windows NT 4.0
