windows system 32 error

I am receiving a message saying system 32 is corrupt and
unreadable please run chkdsk how do i run this ? i used
to use scandisk before but cant find this chkdsk

What is the exact error message? To access chkdsk - double click on My
Computer, then right click on the appropriate drive and select
Properties>Tools>Error-checking.

You can also run chkdsk from a command prompt. Type the following at the
command prompt to see the options available:

chkdsk /?
