Windows System 32 error

I'm running XP home SP1 - occasionally, when I go on line, I get a windows system 32 error stating "DB not found" I have to click close about a dozen times before it goes away. After it is closed it does not come back during that internet session - and not appear again in any future session for a while

Anyone know what the error message means?
 
I was able to resolve the problem myself by removing all the plug-ins from internet explorer and updating windows media player to the current version.
