Windows start up

Hoping someone can help me with this; When I boot up my
computer, I'm getting the following warning message:

"Windows cannot find 'copy'. Make sure you typed name
correctly, and then try again..."

What I don't understand is I'm the only user set up, so I
don't understand what Windows is saying. Hopefully
someone has a solution.

Hi Geoff,

Start/run msinfo32, expand the software environment and click on the startup
programs. Look in here for a line that references the copy command. Make
note of where it is loading from, as this is where you will need to go to
remove the reference. If you are unsure of how to proceed, please post back
with the startup location.

Apparently this error is caused by spyware - Winshow. Open regedit and
find "winshow" and delete any key found. Repeat search with "winlink".
Then search on the hard drive for .dll files that are winshow.dll and
winlink.dll and delete. Reboot. Be extremely careful in the registry.
In fact, you might want to get the spyware removal tools Spybot Search
& Destroy (www.security.kolla.de) and Ad-aware (www.lavasoftusa.com)
first. Be sure to update those programs before running them. I don't
know if they look for Winshow yet. It is preferrable to run the removal
tools in Safe Mode.
