When I log into my user account on windows, it automatically tries to launch
a website through yahoo when the desktop appears. How do I stop this
happening?

How to manage Windows Startup?:

How to use MSCONFIG: NetSquirrel.com:

To generate the list of startup applications, use these steps:

1. Type MSINFO32.EXE in Start, Run dialog.
2. Click the (+) sign in Software Environment category.
3. Select Startup Programs. System Information will now generate the list of
startup entries.
4. Once the right-pane is populated, click the File, Export.
5. Type-in a file name (example: startuplog.txt) and save the file.
6. Close MSINFO32 utility.
