problem. Troubleshooting this type of problem is a process of
elimination that needs to be done methodically documenting everything
you do and in what order. If you feel uncomfortable going any further
in your troubleshooting, and there is no shame in that, then I would
recommend you take it to a competent computer technician to look at.
The most likely cause is a program or service hanging at startup. It
might be conflicting with something else or one of the program's files
is corrupted or missing. The only way to identify which one is to
eliminate things one at a time, or a group at a time, and see the
results. Once you find the culprit(s), the next step is to decide how
to resolve it such as a program reinstall, or removing the program or
changing a setting.
