How do I look at the Windows Start menu on my computer? How do I bring it up
to look at it?

Start, Control Panel, Appearance and Themes, Task Bar and Start Menu
Good luck

This is a joke, right?

Just in case it's not: Click the Start button.

If you're actually asking something else, please post again and be
more clear about what you're trying to do.

Either click on the Start button or press one of the Windows keys on your
keyboard.

Your message isn't clear about what you want. If you right click start and
choose Explore you will get one thing. If you choose Properties you'll get
something else. Either could easily be what you want. So could some of the
other guesses above.

Or, Right-click the start button, choose "Properties"

To answer the *actual question* : simply click "Start" to access the Start
menu.

???

That's not the "Start" menu (AFAIK) that's the "Boot Up Options" menu. - big
difference!
