Windows SP2 & Add or Remove Programs

I tried installing SP2 but the computer froze during the install. After I
powered off and back on the system automatically went back to an earlier
windows configuration and a note suggested that I uninstall SP2 which didn't
finish. The problem now is when I go to "Add or Remove Programs" (in the
control panel) instead of listing the installed programs, a window pops up
which says: "Windows cannot find 'roundll32.exe'. Make sure you typed the
name correctly and then try again". So I cannot use the "Add or Remove
Programs" and I cannot uninstall the Windows SP2. I would appreciate any
help. Thanks! ........Rick
