Windows Sizes

I have a main form which stay maximized using "do.cmd
maximize" in the 'On Activate' section.

But I need a form that pops up from this one to be of
it's original size, with the main form in the background
still at maximum - can this be done and how?

Please keep it simple - im new to this \.
