windows shutting down

Ok, I'm online and working and I get a message that pops
up saying windows must shut down, and there's a countdown
to give me time to save information and close out stuff.
message says something to the effect.... windows shutting
down because the RPC (remote procedure call) has
terminated unexpecedly. then after count reaches zero, my
computer shuts down and restarts. It happens every time
I'm online. WHY, and how do I MAKE IT STOP?
