Windows ShutDown

When I click on:-

START->Turn Off Computer

I get the following options:-

STANDBY TURN OFF RESTART

These appear in a separate box, that is in colour.

If I dont answer straight away I noticed the background
goes grey. But the foreground box stays in color.

Should the background go grey.

Please advise.

Yes. The background will go gray. At least mine does.

I usually click one of the buttons straight away, but
didnt, hence noticing it went gray.

At least it aint a problem with my machine.
