windows shut down unexpectedly

I purchased this computer last week and whenever I'm using it it shuts down
unexpectedly. here is what i found in the section of history of problems, it
happens to me about every 1/2 hour.

Problem signature
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen

Not enough info to help. there is more to the minidump or there should be
that gives the application that has caused this.

Hi oly,

If this machine came with Vista preinstalled, return it to the shop where
you got it from. A new machine shouldn't exhibit any faults, and it is up to
the shop to arrange to repair it or replace it or, if you so choose, refund
your money.

What a helpful description of your problem! One would think that with its
new shiny Vista, Microsoft would finally be capable of giving proper error
reports. Alas, looks like it's still the same old shit. How does anyone
stick with this toy operating system is beyond me?
