Connect digital camera to PC via firewire cable and turn camera on in VCR
mode. If it's in 'record' mode the PC cannot 'see' it. Likewise if it's
turned off, the PC cannot 'see' it.
in the messenger i can not use mi sony camara, anybody
knows why?
the message says: is no conected or is using for other
programs, but Im sure that is only progran that i used.

well I have the same problem and my camera is in VHS mode
turned on and "DVout" enabled.
My setup is Windows XP Home
CPU = Intel P4 3Ghz
MB = Gigabyte GB-8PENXP with 1394 port on board
VC = Radeon 9600 Pro
