Windows says it is starting but never does.

All of a sudden my other computer won't start up. It says windows xp is
starting but it never does. Is there a fix for this?
 
Tap F8 on next Startup . You should get a Menu. If yes try getting into
Safe Mode. If that happens then you can try
a System Restore. Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System
Restore.
