windows restarts when on line

i have a compaq 5500 model pc . and win xp
when i am online a geeor msg appears that "this system is
shuting down save all ur works ..... this shutdown was
initiated by NT AUTHORITY/SYSTEM"

time before shutdown : 1.00

windows must restart now because the Remort Procedure
Call[rpc]service terminated unexpectedly

Its possible your PC is infected by the Blaster worm...

you have a worm off the net on your sysyem
.download save AND EXTRACT the file KB823980x86-ENU

from microsoft site this should remove the worm.
