Windows Registry messed up when upgrading to ActiveSync 4.5

I downloaded and tried to install ActiveSync 4.5 last night. In the middle it
locked up while it was trying to change the Windows Registry. Now, I can't
access My Computer, Control Panel or Explore. So, I can't uninstall the old
version of ActiveSync and it won't let me install the new version (says it's
already trying to install).

Any way I can easily fix this without having to pay Microsoft support to fix
what their software messed up?

Hi,

Try running System Restore and restore the system to just before ActiveSync
was installed. System Restore can be run from within Windows or from Safe Mode.
