My windows XP will not take screenshots using the PrtScr
button on the keyboard. It is definatly the PC as the
keyboard is fine. I know how to use it. It will not make
and copy the screenshot to the clipboard. I really need
this function to make screenshots for my website and I do
not know why it will not work. I have tried taking
stickey keys and filter keys off (as another site
suggested) but it has no effect.

After you press PrtScrn, you have to paste it into a
program.

I know exactly how to use the printscreen key/function
and how to paste the screenshot into a image editor. My
keyboard is fine wotks fine ect. IT JUST DOES NOT WORK -
NO MATTER WHAT. No matter what the keyboard, No matter
what the image editor (adobe Photoshop CS | word | Paint)

And make sure that the keyboard setting in the computer has
not been remapped or had keys disabled.

| Try a different keyboard, whether you think the keyboard
"is fine" or
| not. If it works with a different keyboard, you know your
original
| keyboard is not fine. On the other hand, you might want to
save
| yourself some aggravation and just use an excellent little
freeware
| screen capture program like ScreenGrab or the like.

And it occurs to me that it might be worth seeing if changing the
NumLock setting has an effect on the PrtScn key as well on that keyboard
