Windows Product Activation problem

We were working on an XP machine and then rebooted it and
it comes up and when we login it tells us that Windows
Product Activation cannot find the liscense. It was
working before so why did it all of a sudden do this? How
do I get it to stop. It won't let us in the system.
 
It say do you want to activate windows and when I press
yes it saves settings and takes me back to the login
screen.
