windows problem

Hi everybody I bought a computer Acer Aspire with windows vista
but the computer is not working as it should be.
For example some time the icons in my desktop doesn't work , they become
crazzy, the same happen with the icons on the bar and the icons on the star
option .when that happen most of the programs doesn't want to open etc.the
only way I can get my computer back to work normaly, is login off my user.

please help me.

Since you recently purchased this from Acer, it is most likely to still be
under warranty, so it would be recommended you take advantage of their
support options since it might be a problem with their hardware or device
drivers.

Did you buy this from a store or from a dealer or from the internet? Can
you get any help where you bought it I guess is the question. The
problem you describe may not be an easy one to fix.

When you say "Sometimes the icons don't work" do you mean
1. Sometimes they are messed up when the machine is turned on
2. Sometimes they get messed up while you are using it
3. You log off as user and then back on and it is fixed, right?
4. You log back on as a different user and it's fixed?
5. You actually restart the machine to get it fixed.

This may be a simple case of bad video drivers, have you tried visiting
the Acer website to see if they offer drivers for your model?

I bought the computer at wall mart , they just give you 15 days to return
any product , so I can't change the computer, it's to late.I'll contact Acer
to see what they say.
Any way if you have any idea of what could be the problem please let me
know.I don't write english very well ,'cause is not my native language but I
can read and understand very well.So no problem ok?

Charlie already said it... bad video driver. Check the Acer web site for an
updated video driver.
