Windows Pro on black

Hi,

I've got the following problem. A customer of mine performed system restore
and now Win XP Pro is coming with a totally black screen with the mouse
pointer that is moving and that is all. Does anyone have an idea

I have the same problem. please let me know if you find a

Safe mode, last known good config..., and normal does not
work. Am thinking about reinstalling...
