Windows Pic & Fax viewer

Since installing SP2 I,ve lost picure viewer as default image viewer -
instead image editor is used.

How do I set Picture & Fax Viewer as the default please?

Start/run regsvr32 shimgvw.dll

Tanks for the repy. Itried your suggestion without luck.

BUT Plan'b' fiddle around. I've sorted as follows.

RClicked a jpeg and the 'open With'. Then selected Chhose Prog at the
bottom. Image Editor was highlighted so I cliced Pic & Fax and checked the
always use box at the end.

It worked but perhaps running your .dll helped too.

I had the same problem.

One way without applying a reg change is to go in any docs folder
tools/folder options/File types find the file type that you wish to see with
the fax viewer then you will see a change button, click on it and choose the
faxviewer to see your pics.
