Dear All
I have posted this question on 2 sites WindowsXP.general and
IE55.General.discussion) because I unaware which site group will hold the
answer to my problem.
After about 5-15 mins after logging onto the internet using IE5.5, I get an
error which causes my whole system to shut down. It states that the NT
Authority is shutting me down within 60 secs because the RPC service has
crashed. Can anyone suggest how to fix this problem or indeed the nature of
the problem in the first place?
It is a standard Professional build of XP (disk probably six months old)
with no updates or service packs. There is little software Outlook, Office
and some DVD writing software. NO virus software or personal firewall
software.
Please help me with my problem.
