I am having trouble getting windos to respond. I am
trying to update my web site and I constantly have to
force the end of windows because they do not respond, and
windows are very slow to open. what can I do here to
speed things up?

Hi Collette,
I assume your connected to the internet when updating your
webpage. What is your connection speed? Is the web page
space provider a free one? The reason i ask is because
they can, at times, be very slow. Check in task manager,
ctrl+alt+del, and look under the networking tab...are you
using a high or low percentage of your internet connection
or hardly any at all? If it is slow I would consider
finding a new webspace provider.

There are several things this could be as you don't
provide enough details to narrow it down. Browser settings
to look at would be; cache size, proxy settings,
pipelining, java, security settings, virus, malware, image
settings, etc... It could be a virus or malware as well.
check other programs you have running in the task manager
that use a lot of resources...also look for processes that
shouldn't be there.

post back here if you still can't get it to work right but
please provide more details..
