Windows not recognizing my HD

I recently replaced my motherboard & CPU now XP Pro will not recognize my
slave HD. The HD shows in my BIOS and in the divise manager however Windows
does not list it as a drive and I can not access the 2nd drive. Any help
would be appreciated. Should anyone need any additional information I will
post it.

You repaired the win installation after changing hw? and installed the new
hw mobo chipset and other drivers?
In Disk Management what is shown? (This is not the same as Device Mngr)
sata or ide hd?
