I took some scanned pictures and made a Photostory with music using Microsoft Plus Digital Media
I opened this file up in Windows Movie Maker to add titles and credits
I saved it using the only option it would let me.... that crazy wmsm or whatever format
I want to be able to play this on my DVD player. I need to make a VCD but how do I get it from th
Windows Movie Maker format to the VCD
THanks for all your advice.

I am having the same problem. I need to know how to convert the movie I have made from still photos and video from camcorder combined in Movie Maker to a DVD format. I have a DVD burner but do not know how to save it. Please let me know if you find out what to do (hopefully it will be before Christmas Eve!).

You're gonna kick me.... but.. I actually did one last night... .it worked great..
But I can't seem to retrace my steps to figure out how I got an .avi fil
There appears to be no way. I can't figure out how I did it last night with the same stuff
The manual does say if you do NOT edit it, you can save it as an .avi
I think I'm going to quickly purchase that mySonicDVD program and do it with that.
My email is (e-mail address removed) if you figure it out.

You're saving the project.

You need to save the finished project.... Save to My Computer... and save it
as a DV-AVI file.

Then open your third party DVD burning software (XP has no built in DVD
burning capability).... import the DV-AVI file... tell it you want to make a
DVD.. it will re-encode it in MPG format and burn the DVD.
