First of all Windows Movie Maker doesn't have an ID of its own, it's part of
Windows XP so the ID will be the ID for XP.

Secondly, Windows Movie Maker and Windows XP do NOT burn to DVDs.... there
is no native DVD burning ability included. You need to get a third party
application.

Roxio (www.roxio.com)
Nero (www.nero.com)
PowerDirector (www.gocyberlink.com)
WinDVD Creator (www.intervideo.com)

are some of the most commonly used applications. Your PC probably came with
one (or more) of the above applications installed. Look at your PC manual
and try to find the section on how to burn a DVD.

thanks for the info. It helped some. But I want to note that i have been able
to burn dvds before through windows movie maker burn to dvd feature as i save
the file. It worked for awhile. But has now since stopped. There is another
program on the computer that can burn dvds but in using that I have noticed
that the picture quailty isnt as good as if I go through WMM. Let me know
what your thoughts are and how i was able to burn before. Thanks much
