Windows Movie Maker 2 Crashing

I love Movie Maker, but I now have some problems. Not too long ago I
upgraded my motherboard and video card. Ever since then, Windows Movie Maker
just crashes. After I drag a video into the timeline, just give it a minute
or two and crash. The problem is driving me CRAZY. Any Suggestions?

After the motherboard change did you do a Repair Installation of XP?

No I did not. How do I do that. I am guessing I need to boot from the Windows
XP setup disc, and go from there. Correct me if I am wrong.
