Windows Messenger

I do not use Window's Messenger, so I have it blocked by
Zone Alarm from accessing the Internet. I notice on the
Zone Alarm alerts page that Messenger tries to access the
internet 500 times in a 5 minute period. Does anybody
have an idea as to why it is doing this so many times. I
don't use it so it has no effect on my computer
operation. Thanks in advance

Use XP AntiSpy to block or remove it, it does much more as well if you value
your privacy.
