Windows Messenger

I have Windows Messenger. When I looked at the information this is what I
found it is Microsoft .net 4.7.3001, it has an icon with two people.

From a previous thread that I posted and from doing some research on google.
I found out that deleting this program might cause some issues with other
programs.

From my experience I know that windows messenger during a fresh windows xp
installed was not running when windows started, because it did not appear in
my right bottom icon tray, does this seem to be correct? Also, do you guys
know if during a fresh winodws xp installed is windows messenger running in
the backround?

by default it's running, you can disable it perm, go to admin tools services
and under win mess stop the service and change the start up to disabled.

Under Tools, Options, Preferences I can uncheck the following, should this be
alright? Can this cause any conflicts with another program?

Run Windows Messenger when windows start.
Allow windows Messenger to run in the background.
