Windows Messenger Signing In when Outlook Express is Open

Sometimes when I have Outlook Express opened, my Windows Messenger will sign
in automatically. Does anybody know how to prevent this from happening.

Sometimes when I have Outlook Express opened, my Windows Messenger will sign
in automatically. Does anybody know how to prevent this from happening.

If you go to the Tools menu -> Options... -> General tab, you can uncheck 'Automatically log on to
Windows Messenger'. This will prevent OE from instructing WM to log in when OE is opened.
Unfortunately WM still seems to log in by itself every now and then if your password is saved, and
you can't shut WM down while OE is open unless you disable the integration between the two apps.
Anyone know a satisfactory solution until Microsoft fixes the bug?
