Windows Messenger - "My E-Mail Inbox"

Previously--i.e. pre-WIN XP SR2--right-clicking on Windows Messenger and then
selecting "My E-Mail Inbox, opened my Hotmail account. Now, it goes to my
Outlook account--if open--or does nothing if Outlook is not open.

How do I get it back to opening Hotmail?

I do not really understand you.
But I think you can go online to reach Hotmail.
So you don't have to fix it ............

OK, I'll try again.

Before installing WinXP SP-2, I could complete the following:

1. Right-click on the Windows Messenger icon in my SysTray;
2. From the pop-up menu, highlight "My E-mail inbox";
3. Single-click the left mouse button;
4. Windows Messenger would then load an IE window, and I would log into
Hotmail;

Now, after installing WinXP SP-2, the following happens:

1. Right-click on the Windows Messenger icon in my SysTray;
2. From the pop-up menu, highlight "My E-mail inbox";
3. Single-click the left mouse button;
4. If Outlook is open, it will activate the session, maximise the window
and place me in the InBox;

OR

4. If Outlook is not open, it does nothing;

So, as before, how do I get it to open my Hotmail account, as it used to do?

TIA
