Windows Messenger Crashes with Voice

I have XP Home SP2 with all current updates installed. Windows Messenger
4.7.0.3000 crashes when I try to start a voice conversation as soon as I
choose the Contact to connect with.

Any ideas about what the problem is?

I have the same problem, so does my friend both being on XP SP2. Any solutions to this problem?
