windows messenger always runs help

i use windows messenger and when i shut it off i ecpect it to stay off but
it dosnt. no matter how i set it ,it wont stay off i try shutting it off
with the taskmanager and that works for about 30 seconds .then pop there it
is again. can some one please help me im running out of hair to pull out.
