windows messenger 5.0 for xp and hotmail

Since upgrading to the new version of Windows Messenger
5.0 for XP I can no longer find any feature that lets me
access my Hotmail inbox. The "My E-mail Inbox" menu item
under the "File" menu attempts to open Outlook. Is there
any way to change this setting or is Hotmail access no
longer a feature with this version?

Unfortunately the "Hotmail" feature has moved to MSN Messenger 6 -- you can however have the
My E-mail Inbox link take you to Hotmail (but Windows Messenger 5 will not tell you when you
have mail or how many messages you have). To do so, open up Internet Explorer, click the
Tools menu, then Internet Options, then Programs tab, under the E-mail heading, change the
selection to Hotmail and click OK.
