Messenger and hotmail

Hi everyone.

Messenger 4.6 used to open my hotmail inbox from its
menu. Messenger 5.0 does not seem to have that same
functionality. Is this functionality now gone?

Yes, this functionality is no longer present in Windows Messenger 5.0. To get this feature
back, you'll either need to install and use MSN Messenger 6
(http://messenger.msn.com/Download) or go back to Windows Messenger 4.x. To do so, click
Start, then Run, type (or copy/paste) the following:
msiexec.exe /x {ABEB838C-A1A7-4C5D-B7E1-8B4314B10138}
and then click OK.

Then, you can reinstall Windows Messenger 4.7 from here:

After installing Windows Messenger 4.7, you'll need the MSN Add-In (Add-Ins are not supported
in Windows Messenger 5):
