for some reason I'm unable to fathom.... the above file type opens as script in WMP, when first opened in IE. MPEG, AVI, ect. behave as nornal. I can download and save WMV and open as normal.... but when I try to stream I get the weird script
 
actually, I should say it opens as script in IE. WMP doesn't open at all for the WMV file type
