Most of the time I cannot play music clips when I attempt to play music clips
from Web sites such as AllMusic Guide and CDConnection. I called my computer
manufacture's technical support and am told it is most likely a problem on
your end. I tend to agree because I had the Windows Media Player at work and
it worked 95% of the time. On my new PC it does NOT work 95% of the time. I
have a new Dell 3000 with Intel Pentium IV, 80GB hard drive, 512MB shared DDR
SDRAM, and Windows XP Home Edition. I hardly have anything else loaded.
I either get one of two messages. One says something like (not verbatim)
'Windows Media Player has been directed to another source' or Windows Media
Player cannot play the file because the server is not available.' This
happens so many times it is not worth having it or taking a chance on any
other Windows Player.
