Windows Media Player

S

Stimey

When starting Media Player ver 9.0 I get the following
message: Internal application error has occured.

I have uninstalled media player and reinstalled but I
still can't get it to work.

Any Ideas?

[[Internal application error has occured.]] doen't mean very much by itself.
Open the Event Viewer and see if you can find something related to Windows
Media Player. Look under Application or maybe System.

To open the Event Viewer...
Start | Run | Type: eventvwr | OK |

When you find an event that looks promising |
Double click the event in Event Viewer | Click: the button below the second
arrow (looks like two pages) [[Copies the details of the event to the
Clipboard.]] | Paste into Notepad | Click:

This can also be very useful.
You need to have the Event ID & the Event Source.
