Windows Media Player

I'm running Windows XP Home on my EMachines computer.
Windows Media Player plays MPEG files great, but when
I try to play a MWV file, all I get is what appears
to be code.
Anyone having this problem?

MWV = MovieWorks file

You'll have to investigate whether or not there is a
plugin for that file type in the media player tools there
is a selection to dowload plugins, good luck

I got the same problem.
after getting no where with emachines customer support,
I returned the computer and got a HP instead. problem solved.
