Windows Media Player (v9) goes into full screen every time

Every video file (or stream) that plays in Media player
automatically goes full screen. Is there any way to turn
this behavior off? It has gotten past the point of being
annoying.

You should have "Zoom" set on your video card driver's settings. Turn that
off, and the video card should stop making the video full-screen. :)
