Why does WMP go to full-screen every time?

Hello,
I'm running Windows Media Player 9.0 on a Windows 2000
laptop. Every time I click for a video, the player
switches immediately to full-screen mode by default.

I look everywhere and I can't find a way to change it so
it doesn't do this. Please help.

?? Click View, Video Size.
The options are in the help file under "resize".
