Windows Media Player Trouble

I am trying to show a DVD using a projector and using my laptop. The dvd
plays fine on the laptop while the projector displays the frame of media
player but no video output.
 
That means that the projector is either not connected properly to the
PC, or it is not installed properly, meaning the drivers.
