WMP on my daughters PC is corrupted and won't open, will running the XP CD
and doing a "Repair" fix it or is there another way of doing it?
She doesn't want WMP 11.
She's using XP Pro/SP2, I have a slipstreamed disc with XP Pro/SP3 on it.
She can use Winamp for CD's etc. but would like to see the WMP
visualisations on an attached 37" LCD TV.

Thanks for the replies, have downloaded WMP 10 and will also update her to
SP3 at the same time.

Slightly OT, but please take a look at VLC media player:

I have used it to play several video CDs and DVDs that WMP11 is unable
to. At the same time, it could not play videos (e.g. downloaded from
YouTube), which could be played only with Real Player.
