windows media player problem

I try to open media player by clicking on the icon but nothing happens. I
tried reinstalling it but nothing happens. I look in the control panel to
see if i can uninstall it, but i cant find it. what possible options do i
have?

Click star run and paste the following line into the run box...

"C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\setup_wm.exe" /uninstall


then reinstall wmp

My sound will work but the WMP screen shoots off-screen [to the right] and
can't be retrieved or viewed. Have tried re-installing but it still happens.
Any ideas? Sam
