windows media player error C00D11CD

Can anyone help me solve this problem with an error I am
getting when I click to open a video file sent via email
I get this windows media error C00D11CD.
I have win. media player 9.0 with win xp home edition,
thanks so much.

The Error 0xC00D11CD is a "general" error message....

Please post back if you do not find a solution with AS MUCH information as possible

However it sounds like you are trying to play from an email attachment.... if this is the case you MUST save the file to your hard drive and THEN play..
