windows media player 9

Anyone know why my media player will not play any files?
It will show the song but no sound out of the speakers.

I had a similar problem recently. Solution was to re-install the sound card
drivers.

In MP9, go to Play>Volume to be sure Mute is not checkmarked. If so, unmark
and try again.
