Windows Media Play - Vista Home Premium

Media Play on my new PC with Vista Home Premium worked fine until a few days
ago. Now I cannot "open" it. It will not run. I have tried opening it in
the Programs File folder and other ways, it refuses to activate. I note on
the Microsoft web site I cannot download a Vista version of Media Player 11.
What do I do? Oh, I also tried the "setup.exe" document in the Program File
folder and it says I have Media Player but nothing works. Dan

Try using System Restore to take you back to a time prior to when this
began; Start Menu\All Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Restore.

While System Restore should not touch your data files and only restore your
system settings and registry to the point at which they were on the selected
restore date, you should, nonetheless, be sure your data is well backed up.
