Windows Media Center, Wireless keyborad

Hello Everyone,
Not sure if im in the right area.

I have just set up Media center for the first time,
I am trying to get the wireless keyboard working, now all the buttons around
the side work Ie.my music, live TV etc

But the stranded keyboard doesn’t work not sure what I have done
Can anyone help me?
