Drag and drop a copy of it from your Start Menu.

Look under:

Programs
Accessories

I've changed my start menu around so much that I can't remember much
more than that. HTH though.

Do a search for explorer.exe . When found create a shortcut and put it
on your desktop. A right click might give you the option to do that.
Look at 'Send to" if it is on your menu.

IEXPLORE.EXE is Internet Explorer. OP asked for help with WINDOWS EXPLORER,
the file name for which is EXPLORER.EXE. Look for this (probably in
c:\windows) and send or paste a shortcut to the desktop).
